Garden life

So I keep getting compliments on how awesome my flowers and tomato plant look! I planted them about two months ago! All I have done is water them!!

We have a tomato growing already! Iz is really excited about that.
We played outside all afternoon at the farm-the three are beyond exhausted!

Until tomorrow!!

Royal blood

On a date night!! I'm at my first concert in I don't know how many years!! It's good music! My body is vibrating!
I can't see much! Too many tall people (or as Ryan just said-short people problems!) I'm not the only pregnant person here though!!! Hooray!

Until tomorrow!
The Henry face!!
Thanks mom for watching the kids!!

Kdg orientation

This morning marked Isabelle's very first kindergarten experience! She had orientation and was very excited!! I was excited for her and so was Viola! She insisted on her monkey for comfort purposes-but only at first.
She had her picture taken and then we found her room. This isn't the room nor the teacher for sure that she will have here in five weeks. I think this was just to familiarize all the kiddos with the new environment and faces. When I had to leave she was suddenly terrified and started sobbing. Holy hormones in me, It took every ounce I had to not cry with her. Thankfully one of her previous teachers was in there with a special needs friend from her preschool room and that helped me-and her!!
Come pick up she told me she had a blast. They colored and played outside and had a snack. I was so relieved! She's the one in the very back next the the boy whose chilling out-haha. She said she's very excited for her first day when it comes and now knows what to expect!
We just had some candid times tonight and fun with Ryan. He's officially done with the towing and starts his new job Monday! I can't even begin to explain how happy I am and will be to have him here on normal hours!!
It's been a pretty emotional day on my part and I'm happy to be sitting here watching a Tinker Bell movie with the family!

Until tomorrow!

Preschool no more

Well I officially have a kindergartener under my roof now!! I still can't believe how quickly this first year of public preschool has gone!! I'm ready for her to go but at the same time it's bitter sweet since she has grown so fast before my eyes!
I did the side-by-side comparison...she's changed quite a bit. Not only look wise but she had learned SO much! She will kill it in kindergarten!
I had to get one outside her room, too.
So other than this big news of the day, we were invited to play outside at Lindsay's this morning. We were literally outside all morning!!
The kids had a ton of fun! Iz and Kinnick are great friends!!
This kid and his swings...
We had a quick picnic lunch before we headed to school, too! Prefect day for it!!

Until tomorrow!
These two had to pose too!! Goof balls!

Sand castles

We parked it up today. This morning the kids played at a clean park and this evening we played at the sand park and made sand castles!
Since we've had so much rain the sand was perfect!

Henry wasn't a huge fan of getting dirty so he was in the swing a lot.
He turned into a big monkey tonight too! Little turkey!

Until tomorrow!

First one

The crummy weather led to a very uneventful day. Henry had his very first sucker today. I finally caved and allowed it.
He sucked it down to nothing so I guess he can handle it.
She was stocked for a blue tongue.
This was from Sunday when my mom was here and it's just too cute!

Until tomorrow!!

Farm day

Oh to say the kids had a blast at the farm isn't enough! They all three had so much fun and were going non-stop!
This kid and this bike were best friends all day!
The girls ran through the sprinkler that Viola got for her birthday! Oh they had a blast!!!

Vi and Henry helped with some of the projects that papa had!
Like I said...him and his bike!!
We're all beat!! Hope everyone had a great three day weekend!!

Until tomorrow!!

Grammy visit

We haven't seen my mom since Viola's party! That's a very, very long time for us! We were quite excited for her arrival!
The girls had her pamper them! She did their nails, their hair, she read to them and played and played!  They also got a new outfit from her co-worker so they felt extra spoiled! Thanks Grammy!!! And Jodi for the super cute clothes!!
She brought us her toddler bed for Henry! We will start him with naps in it tomorrow and have a nice slow transition before his brother arrives. I'm not ready for him to be that big yet! He loves playing on it! So that's a positive sign!
So for now, the boys' room looks like this. I also separated the girls' beds and gave them a bit more room. Vi has been doing just fine sleeping in her bed, so it was time to separate!
We had a busy morning of cleaning and picking up, but it feels better in here now!!

Until tomorrow!

Upside down

So my day started out quite rough. I woke up and was very frustrated with grumpy kiddos so I took a ten minute time out to go get myself breakfast. It worked! I came back good.
After dropping Ryan at his parents acerage to mow the kids and I went to Walmart to get groceries. Got out and I could hear the air pouring out of a tire!  Not cool!  Thankfully Charlie came to the rescue and a plug was able to fix the issue!
Averted a big cost there!
We spent the afternoon at a birthday party for Gracie and Max! The kids had a blast!
Henry has a new love to jump!!
There was so much to do and not enough time!
All three were mad when we left to come home!!
So bad morning turned into fun afternoon.

Until tomorrow!!

Clostridium difficile Infection

Big medical term, right!!  For short the doctor called it c.diff.
Let's back track our story first!
Henry had a very loose stool full of blood this morning. I'd been on the fence all week about taking him back in for his cough...well that 100% led me to call.
We went after Iz was out of school, and after seeing the photo of his gross diaper, he told me about c.diff. What it comes down to is this (as taken from a website): the balance of bacteria in the intestines is altered, such as in antibiotic use, C. difficile infection may develop and lead to colitis (inflammation in the colon). The colitis is caused by the production of two toxins that can lead to irritation in the colon. C. difficile can spread from person to person or through contact with objects contaminated with feces (fecal-oral transmission).
Obviously in our case it's antibiotics!!!
Here's what I get to do! I was sent home with a plastic container to collect a sample for testing-only if he has another loose stool (ice cream consistency or looser), or with more blood. Then they send it off for testing. He's not saying this is 110% what he has, just ruling things out. Hopefully we can get a sample in just to be safe!
Henry is good orher wise. His lungs were clear, and I guess his right ear showed that it had an infection, but is resolving itself! His temp was elevated, but other wise we are ok!!
The only pic I got today was a nasty diaper so here is an oldie!

Until tomorrow!!

Sappy feelings

I got Isabelle's kindergarten information in the mail this morning. We got her into year round school! For her the consistency is good and I'm super excited for her. I did great when I called Ryan to tell him, but when I called my mom I was nearly in tears. I can't believe how fast time is going and it doesn't seem like this should be happening already! We have orientation next Friday and she will officially start July 13th!
So this is what year round school looks like. There are several breaks and it looks great! To me this just makes so much sense.
Iz is thrilled and telling everyone she "got into Irving"!
So after school we played at the park for a good hour and got super dirty! They loved it!

Until tomorrow!

House vomit

I can 100% say the girls destroyed the entire back half of the house today. Twice.
Diaper vomit mixed with toys. Viola did this twice. Sorting out two sizes of the same diaper is so fun! NOT!!!
The toys extended into our room
Where I had laundry waiting to be put away...of which I did!
And finally, why not strip all our sheets and blankets! I'm pregnant-I just love making beds!
I CAN say that even though they did this they were busy playing, using their very busy imaginations and didn't fight!! It's all cleaned up and put away!!
Still need healthy vibes. He's miserable. He coughed and cried all night and most of today. Probably going back to the doc tomorrow. I've had three nights of no sleep, I'm pretty much a zombie-as is Henry!

Until tomorrow!!

Before and after

So this picture of Viola's dress looks terrible. She had s bloody nose yesterday due to not being buckled in. No, I'm not a terrible and neglectful parent. Vi has figured out the buckles of her straps in her car seat! Due to her not being in and her and Iz fighting I hit the breaks too hard and she flew forward and hit her nose. I alms or started crying with her. It looked like a crime scene in the van but we quickly got it taken care of!
So I give you the dress. Soaked in blood. My mom researched how to get the blood out! It worked and the dress is good as new again! Thank goodness! And we can officially burry the bad memory!!
Today, the kids picked more flowers and were having a really good time with it.
Henry wasn't happy unit he had one, too!
It was super bright outside, too...and Iz was a great helper with picking the flowers!
Oh-we ended up in urgent care with Henry this morning. He has croup (I know...here we go again), and isn't feeling the best today! I really hope he can sleep better tonight and not bark like a seal! He had a one time steroid dose and it seems to be working with the croup (but obviously not the cough).  Send good healthy vibes his way!

Unt tomorrow!!
