Grammy visit

So my mom is here spending the night. The girls have been SO excited to see her! They've had quite a bit of fun this evening and tonight!!

Paying it forward

Today's a day in history. The kids and I did our very first random act of kindness! We bought two gas cards and gave them to two very random college kids! The look on their faces made it all worth it.
The story behind why is amazing as well. There is a sideline family on our it works team who's husband is very sick in the hospital. He's fighting a blood infection. Rather than have people help them out, they requested everyone to pay it forward with a random act of kindness!!



Done. We did it. I'm proud we did and hope Steven feels great soon. You all should do it too! The feeling is unexplainable!!

ENT

Henry had an ent appointment this morning addressing all the fluid issues he's been having with his ears. Since he just got done with antibiotics for an actual infection, they presented ok today. He passed the hearing test. We were told to just and wait since we're at the end of the sick season. Oh well.



This adorable old lady came in and took Adrian right from me. Probably one of the cutest things I've seen! She didn't ask and I totally did not care! She was just too sweet!

Vintage in the city

Ryan and I took the kids to Des Moines to the vintage in the city. We hit up a few shops loaded with retro and antique items. It was really neat. Iz loved it!






I took Henry out to play with rocks. He loved that!

Terrible what

You know how one says now that three is worse than two! Well I've known that for a while now, but in the past week, Viola has upped her A games by about 200%. Specifically in the past two days.

Last night she threw the biggest and longest tantrum I've ever seen. Why? Because I wouldn't let her have gum until after dinner! And the best part...yep! It was dinner time. She screamed. LOUD. Kicked. Hit. Thrashed. All in front of Ryan's mom, too.

Today she did the same because I told her she didn't need a bath, so there for she needed to leave the bathroom. She kicked and screamed and on and on. I'm sure the neighbors think she's being seriously injured by now.

I'm telling you all this so you see my life is not easy, nor picture perfect. My life is crazy and a lot of times totally upside down. I love my kids, but sometimes mommy needs a break. But mostly, I love them!

My why

Please read this. I'm telling you tonight my why. That means my reason for becoming a distributor for it works. Stop reading now if you wish, or continue. I joined because I'm getting my family out of debt. We have so much debt in just student loans, that at this rate we will pay until we at no longer alive! We also just got a house.

My family is my world...I love being home with my kids, but I also want to help support us again. I love being able to do so on my own time! That's the absolute beauty of this business. I'm my own boss. I don't care if you don't believe me, but I do want you to join me.

I'm working hard so that we can take our kids somewhere fun and not have to say no we can't because we're broke. I want to be able to buy that book Isabelle begged for, or that bubble wand Viola wanted, or the stuffed animal Henry saw. Right now though we can't. That's my why! Why should I say no when all I want to do is give the best to my kids and Hubby! So watch me run and run fast!

Surgery

Ryan has to have surgery on his hand to get rid of his carpal tunnel. He had an appointment today to solidify they he had a problem. He was hooked up to nerve testing probes, and the tech told him right away that he was justified in his numbness. So on April 7th...he goes in for his outpatient procedure!

7 months

Another month has come and gone. I can't believe our tiny mighty is now 7 months! Adjusted wise he's 5...and perfectly on track!


As you see he's obsessed with those feet! He loves to blow raspberries! He talks all the time. He's close to sitting, but still needs a lot of help. He is working each day with eating solids. It's not perfect yet, but better each day!


Today he tied to hold his bottle. Probably a fluke, but it was cute!

Married life

Well I've been married for 7 years as of today. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. At all. Time goes by so quickly now-especially now that we have kids! I love being married. We have our days, but life wouldn't be the same without you, Ryan. I love you. Happy anniversary.

She knows my secret

So Iz likes to roam around the house and write down random things she sees. This time she saw my white board and my goal for this month! I'm going ruby and getting that $1,000 cash bonus! That's why her paper says "Dream big, ruby!"  I never told her to write it or what it means. I praised her for her fabulous hand writing!

Team meeting

Today I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of our team meeting. I met so many new and amazing people!



The absolute biggest thing I took away was this: for those who doubt me and don't think this is real or say no to me-that's fine. I cannot and will not dwell on it. If I do I will not be successful in building MY business! I want to help everyone I see and meet, but I can't and I have to be ok with that too! If you say you don't have money then you need this business more than anything! It's pretty simple. I will be successful and I will go far! Just watch me!!

Over night

Isabelle is at her very good friend Macey's house tonight for her very first over nighter! She's been away at grandparents before, but not a friends. I'm confident she'll be fine!

Working it

We have been working so hard on sitting!!


He gets so excited that he generally can't stay up, but we're getting closer!


We had a rough day attitude wise. All kids were mouthy and grumpy. Maybe it's the sudden temperature drop over night, idk, but tomorrow has got to be better. I'm exhausted!


We looked at a couple more houses tonight. One Ryan really liked but I wasn't at because the kids needed to eat! Hopefully I'll get to see it in a day or two!

Pharmacy stock

Once again I have stock in Walgreens. Henry has an ear infection now. I also had to take Viola back in for a yeast infection. I could no longer take her screaming while digging at her booty. It's been a very long day to say the least.

I'm under the weather some today. I've noticed if I don't keep up on Advil, I'm pretty achey. Hopefully it just stays at that.


Henry slept for 4 hours for his nap. He seems a lot more like himself now, but not yet 110%.





And Adrian, well he's just perfect.
