Big move

Well we're all into our new place. All of our stuff is in the garage while we continue to clean the mess in here. It's quite the change. I have limited connection right now so hopefully Monday after we're hooked all back up I can get more pictures up!!

Check up

Today was long. Viola had her four year check up. I had no clue she needed shots. Not a big deal, but with this child, world war three started. She tried to hide, she kicked and screamed. Oh the screams. I honestly don't know who my audience is, but if you were at mercy at 10 am-yes that was my child.


We are moving tomorrow!! I tried to clean up the new house as much as possible this afternoon. Ryan is there now so hopefully it looks awesome come tomorrow! I'm ready for this new adventure.

4th bday

Well my sassy monster is officially four! I can't even believe it. She is the most strong willed, stubborn and sweet girl that Ryan and I have met. She's a perfect balance of each of us-however I bet we both would agree she's more like one of us than the other. Like Ryan said in his post today-she'll get far in life with her strong will because she will no let anyone get in her way when she wants something!


She's had a great day and loved telling everyone she saw that she was four.


I'm so glad these two love each other as much as they do! It melts my heart!!

Home owners

We officially signed all of our papers today for our house! We're all pretty stoked! Even the kids!!! This is with out a doubt the biggest step Ryan and I have taken together besides having kids! We'll start cleaning it tomorrow through Saturday and move in Sunday!

The only other super excitement we had today was seeing the garbage man outside! Well-and my mom was here for a bit while we signed papers!!


And she delivered a new favorite of Adrian's!! Made dinner time much easier!

Hot rod

After the morning rain we had, we made it to the park before we got Iz at school.
We also went for a family walk tonight with Ryan's hot rod!
For those that don't know, Ry took a wagon and wheel barrow and made a hot rod. He just needs to add a steering wheel!


The kids love it!





This kid has two more teeth coming!! That will make 7!!!

Monday life

Well today has come to an end. I'd say it was a fairly productive day. I got three loads of laundry done and put away. Mind you-one is still in the dryer. It counts though. All moms will agree with me.
I cleaned the floors. Twice. Once with regular cleaner and the next with acetone. Why? Because in a rage of madness Viola, again, threw and shattered nail polish on the tile. Oh that sweet child!
In an attempt to take a shower and not feel gross at 11 am...I felt like it failed. I get out to see Henry on the kitchen counters (via two buckets he stacked together) with scissors and smashing them into my candle that, yes indeed, had been lit! Literally nothing and I mean nothing is safe anymore! What's a mom to do!
Oh well. On the bright side...it was sunny and beautiful today!!

Fat lip dangers

Warning. Happy and excited babies can be dangerous. I was kneed in the mouth by Adrian today which led to a bruised fat lip! Ha! Yep!!

Farm fun

We spent a quick hour at the farm this afternoon!



If they could have ridden in this all day, they so would have. They loved it!!

Good vibes

We tried to send lots of happy vibes to Grammy today. It's been very hard on me not getting to go and see her or help her. I'm very glad she's finally gotten some answers and is feeling a tiny bit better.

Rainy day

I got a lot of cleaning done today. The kids don't make that look possible, but it's true.


Henry was so tired he fell asleep on the floor! We also got a few items at Walmart and scoped out the fishes! Aside from that I've been busy keeping tabs on mom!!

Feeding a preemie

So I've come to find that feeding a preemie isn't as easy as I thought it would be. My goal with this baby was to nurse and only nurse for however long he wanted. Well that all obviously changed once he came 8 weeks early!
Remember how I had planned to make this stash last until Adrian was one!


Yeah that didn't happen. It was gone before he was six months! I'm still not sad I made the choice to quit nursing. He's doing good with formula...we just struggle with solids a bit now. We're up to drinking 4 ounces now at most! I'm proud of how far we've come from the 2 ounces in the Nicu!


He does ok with solids. He gags a lot still. He doesn't seem to enjoy any of the flavors. I almost want to let him try finger foods, but he's so not ready! Especially if he gags on just cereal. He will get there I know this, so for now we're still going slow and drinking more bottles than anything!

The Ugly side

So the ugly side to house buying can be very ugly. We got an email last night saying our closing date is pushed back to the 29th. I hope that doesn't happen again because we didn't renew our lease! Not looking to be homeless by any means.
Then we also found out we have to come up with an additional $3,000 at closing. Talk about gut punch. We're now accepting donations! Just kidding (but seriously, how do we pull that out of thin air!). Oh well. I guess what can make this tough week better is at least a few rumbles of thunder with the rain tomorrow!
We love sweet corn too!

Newness

So in a desperate attempt to try something to keep the kids occupied, I tried a very new type of park. We went to Grays Lake!
It worked for a while...then they saw the beach and wanted to get in the water! That ended that adventure! At least until it's warm enough to actually get wet!

8 months old

It's hard to believe my tiny 32 weeker preemie is 8 months old, 16 pounds and thriving! I'm very happy that we haven't had any issues yet with his development or health (minus this week with his ear infection).



That shirt is what he came home in from the hospital!! Nuts! He eats one solid meal a day and is now taking 3 oz (4 max)!


He rode in a swing for the first time today!


He LOVES being outside!!
We're blessed with such an amazing miracle man!!

Sick baby

Well Adrian has his first major ailment. I'll take an ear infection over any of the other possibilities of what he could get.
I knew something was really wrong when I tried to shower. Even though he cloud see me, he just screamed. It wasn't a normal cry.
Also because his fever (102.5) wouldn't break with meds, my gut said go in. So we did.


We're on amoxicillin for ten days. On the road to recovery now! I just hope he sleeps better tonight!

Teething pains

So Adrian is cutting all 8 of his front teeth at once. It's exhausting. He's usually ok but the past couple of days he's been very grumpy! I'm ready to have my happy boy back!

Why wrap

I'm going to be real tonight. Why should you wrap?
Everyone. Yes. Everyone. Even the super skinny girl over there wants to fix parts of her body, too! We all do. Big or small, we want to fix things that have changed with time.
I've done eight wraps total now. I have seen a difference. I like what I see. I simply wanted to tighten and firm up that hang over from having my kiddos! That's what the wraps do. They don't make you instantly lose weight or inches. If you keep up with it and a healthier lifestyle, yes, you'll see a huge difference!



Sharing my results has been very hard for me because I've never liked anything about my body. Ever. Ryan loves it and that's what matters. I do see a difference and I DO love it.
This company isn't a joke. It's legitimate and real. You all know me. Why would I lie. I can't and even if I tried you would know!
I want to help everyone feel better about themselves!! Join me on this amazing journey!!

Recovery road

So Viola and I are both on amoxicillin now. I have put my cough off long enough. I've had it for over a month now and the past couple of days it's gotten worse with a sore throat. Vi also has that plus a fever. Luckily she was negative for strep, but given she has a temp, the doc put her on meds. I took Iz in too, just to be sure-she's fine too! So off to recovery road we go!





We also go some ice cream to make us all feel better! Ryan included! Ps-he's doing great today!
