Thanksgiving #2

We had thanksgiving with my family today. Always good fun.

We had hyvee prep the food for us this year. I must say, it was awesome to just warm it all up and spend more time visiting!! 

We were packed in, but cozy! The kids had no problems creating plenary of toy vomit.

Age flashback

I had a total age flashback this morning. Isabelle was begging me to color with her.,,I can't draw. I don't find myself creative at all, but I agreed. Kids don't care! 

Remember when you were in middle school and it was cool to do this! Ok well maybe only I do-but my kids loved it!

They wanted one for Henry, I agreed and now they hang on their bedroom doors!

We did lots of daddy snuggles and story time tonight!

I think it's safe to say we're all glad he's home!!

Bad day

We all have them, but I did not see my day going the way it did. 

I took the kiddos to the mall to play. We all have cabin fever so they had energy to burn!

They climbed, jumped and ran.

Goal met...meet my drive home! 

I left home with a half tank of gas...where it went, I don't know. Two miles from home the van died...I was freaking out, but to the good random stranger who went out of his way, I love you! He was on the opposite side of traffic from me and turned around and came back to help. Life saver. I cried. I was a mess. 

My day got better. We rented movies, for munchies and did nothing! It was nice. 

We do have matching pjs now and has fun taking pictures tonight! 

Because we all know how easy it is to get three kids to sit, look and smile!

Happy thanksgiving

Happy turkey day to all! It was Henry's first one! 

He was so excited. Not really. He had a very rough night that makes me wonder if he needs to see the dr again. We will see how tonight goes. 

I have three very cute reasons to be thankful. As mad, angry, crazy and bonkers they may make me-I love them. I wouldn't ever trade them.

I can't remember what my life was like before we had them. I like it like that though. I'm so consumed by them and in love with them and I get excited to see what their littles lives will be when they're older! 

I love watching them learn and to get excited about it. The smallest of things are so important to them, and I love that. I want nothing to stop my kids from being excited-doesn't matter what about. I'm so very thankful for the energy and love they bring our family! 

We spent the day with Ryan's family (minus Ryan-stupid work!). We had a blast!

I'm glad we have such good cooks in our family!!!

This girl...her papa is never out of sight! I'm very thankful for great in laws who love the crap out of our kids!!! 

I'm thankful for a lot of things, but I won't go on-we'd still be here tomorrow!!

Break day 1

Isabelle is now on turkey break. I never got the day before off! She's lucky. 

Anyway...it feels like Christmas break with the snow! 

So we spent some time playing in the snow!

And "tried" to sled

Henry had to be an observer, but he was very content. He is also more himself today and seems to feel better, but his cough is pretty nasty still! 

Cold, but fun!

The kids played apples to apples (the jr version) after the snow. 

Jessamy has a Y membership, and used her guest pass today for us, so we took the kiddos swimming! LIFE SAVER!!!

The fishes had a blast!!!!

The life jackets were there but not required-more of a toy!!

The humidity was perfect for him!!
