Ryan took Isabelle to Ames to get her ears pierced. She has been asking and asking. So you're asking-ok why go all the way to Ames. Ryan has always had it planned to get it done at our tattoo parlor.
Long story short-first ear is done, but she didn't have it in her to get her other one done. Ryan didn't want to fight her. Half way home she asked if they could go back! So hopefully when they do, she'll be ok. For now...we have one lone ear!

I spent the day getting the house back together. I have so much laundry to do tomorrow though! Viola and Henry were great helpers though!

We had some outside time. Henry likes Isabelle's new helmet and wore it around like a crazy person. I got my van vacuumed out and dusted. The three amigos weren't too much help, but it looks better. And yes-if you notice Adrian in the background...as quick as I took this pic, he crawled up to the street. The kid is getting so fast!

We ended the night at the races. It was kids night. None of them won a bike this year, and that's ok. We found out Adrian LOVES races. He was SO excited! It was adorable and hilarious at the same time.

Keeping his ears covered was a great challenge. If he was distracted enough it worked, but eventually we gave up and I covered his ears at the end with my hands.

He's not too far off from being old enough to understand he needs them. Henry had a blast as always!
