Jump one mile

I took one of the storage toy shelves out of the girls room today. All but one of the buckets have broken and was just taking up space. Now I have Viola along the wall like her sister.
Just guess what the first thing they did. It's not hard to figure out.
Yep. You're so smart!!
They tried to jump from bed to bed. Hopefully there are no broken bones in the foreseeable future, but there's no promises being made.
Just forces of nature and crazy kids.

Vi and I had some silly selfie time waiting for Iz at the bus stop.

Violas life

A day in the life of a phone hacker: Viola version.

To be clear. I deleted 50+ pictures from her alone tonight. Sneaky cookie.

And one taken by Iz. And yes. The beautiful collage of tape and paper is how Viola has decided to display her school work. She's so smart!

My heaven

My heaven is enjoying storm clouds like this. I love weather and watching it. Slightly bummed it didn't come here, but loved seeing for the last time until spring.

Blankets and beads

Ryan and the kids made necklaces and a bracelet for Henry.

Things got super serious when he started making them scarves for outside. We got some pretty awesome deals at Joann's last night!

After that he got even more serious and made a newer and bigger blanket for our bed.

This just shows the backside color we put with it.

Hopefully it serves it's purpose to keep him warmer at night. I'm always fine. Maybe it's because he doesn't dress warm enough. Haha!

2nd turkey

We all traveled north to have thanksgiving with my family.
Iz didn't want to be pictured.

All three of my parents, my brother and Charmaine as all the kiddos were there.
Everyone had fun. Everyone ate too much.

I love my family and love all the laughs we had today!

Xmas prep

Today is all things Christmas. From now until the day after. I've seen so many posts of people getting their homes ready and decorating. I love it. I love Christmas. I love living it through my kids.
I always have ideas in my head of how perfect I want things to look and be. Kinda like the picture below. But with kids around we all know that never happens!
Now Ry and I just need to figure out what to get the kids! My least favorite part. I'm indecisive and can't ever make up my mind!

At least it was warm enough to be outside for a bit.

Turkey day number 1

We had thanksgiving with Ryan's family today. I did a terrible job at taking pictures. We had a blast though! Kids played and played with their cousins. We (the adults) chatted and chatted more with each other until we forced ourselves to leave. Only because it was bedtime though for the kids! It's funny how fast time goes when you're having fun!
Hope everyone else had a great day with family and friends!

15 months

Four shots and some loud screams later, we left the doctors office on a good note today! We're on a normal growth curve now and healthy! Well, minus the still red ears and snotty nose. This little dude is growing like a champ and doing awesome.
He walks around and says "no!" all day long and I'm positive he has no idea what it's meaning is yet. He screamed it all through the store this morning. It was hilarious. He sure brightens the gloomy and cloudy day.

This girl fell asleep in the couch this afternoon. It's very unlike her. She started begging to go to bed and read books at 615 tonight. Also very unlike her.

I really hope she's just extra tired today. I also hope she sleeps good tonight and isn't up before six tomorrow!

I support

Today I put my support for the blue on my vehicle. I've always supported them. I've been wanting to display my support loud and proud for a few weeks now, and today I finally did it.
It has made me so sad for those who have to endure such terrible losses, but it saddens me more that it keeps happening. I wish everyone could show their support in some way. It warms my heart every time I see someone with any symbol of blue.
I have so many friends who have family members in the force. Please know I'm forever grateful for them. I think about you all when I see blue stripes, patrol cars, t-shirts, and so on.

Moooooody

Ever notice the day after you keep your kids super busy and active the next day is usually a nightmare? That's been at least 3 of my kids today. Holy moly. I'm beat.

Henry was probably the worst. I also think he's entering his terrible threes.
He was just mean to his brother today, which isn't like him at all. Luckily for me he fell fast asleep at 6:40 tonight!

Adrian was good if he kept himself busy. But more often was tired. Viola had a few meltdowns as did Iz. However, everyone's in bed now! Hooray. Another day done!

Watch me jump

We were invited to one fun birthday party today! Santi turned five today!

Friends!!!

It was a first for all my kiddos. We were at one of the trampoline places. Talk about awesome fun!
There were so many things for the kids to do. Isabelle mastered the thing that looks like something from American Ninja Warrior. It was pretty sweet. I posted a video on my Facebook.

The girls did the balance beam once. And those hanging things behind were too hard for either of the girls to do just yet.

They have "sides" for ages to jump. They go based on height. Viola, Henry and Adrian were on the same side. Adrian had an absolute blast! He even crawled through a mess of those foam blocks like a pro! Literally nothing stops him! Henry was CRAZY and all over the place. Adrian kept trying to run or crawl over to the bigger kid side.

Chasing those two around was my work out of the day! Man alive, they are fast!!!

After eating crap tons of candy, pizza and cake, the boys passed out immediately going home! To which I was totally ok with!

Thanks again for having us Allison and Santi! We had a blast!!

Getting pretty

It's funny how much Henry is a boy and does boy things. But let me tell you! This boy loves to get pretty like his sisters do! They wanted a small bit of eye shadow on. Naturally he did too. A few minutes go by with no Henry around and he wanders down the hall looking like this. I guess I didn't give him enough to his standards! He sure is good looking!

Load after load

I finally got all of our bedding and blankets washed today. I hope it helps kill more germs. It took all day, but it's so worth it.
Viola woke up with a fever this morning so everyone was home. I'm sure Iz could have gone back, but I didn't want to fight the school.
Henry slept almost 13 hours last night. Viola 12, and Iz was about 10. I consider that a win!
I've had a headache all day. I'm hoping it's just the crazy weather. I didn't get any pics today. So here's an oldie.

Visits galore

As tired as I am with doctors visits, today's appointment was the one we've been waiting for. It didn't go at all how I was hoping, but I suppose everyone else will see it as good news.

As soon as the dr tried looking at viola's ears, he stopped. Too much wax. After getting it all out, her ears are actually ok right now. That shocked me. I mean, yes it's good, but I wasn't expecting it at all. Same story with Adrian. His eustachian tubes are maturing great. That is what helps drain the fluid that gets in there. So for now, no tubes. Obviously we're early in the season, so if problems arise I'll call back.

Iz stayed home sick. She had a fever and a cough that sounded tight. I decided to get her checked out to be extra safe. The flu was referenced a lot, but that's not what we're being diagnosed with. All four of them just have the same crud.

This kid is so tired today. So much back and forth in the van. No good naps. He did so good though.

We tried to enjoy the last warm day of the season with some outside time this afternoon. It sure was awesome!

Cocktails for all

I made all the kids cocktails tonight! Each one is coughing. A lot. It's gross. I'm tired of it. I've tried everything under the sun to help them. I did a last ditch effort tonight of some Benadryl. I'm hoping that if it doesn't at least help the cough much, maybe it'll help them each sleep better. One can wish!
Henry got busy this morning at the play date with one of the toys. He called himself the garbage man.

He has a love for all things trucks!

No words needed

I don't need words tonight. This was my day in a nutshell. We did manage a bit of park time since it was so nice!

Again

Last night was rough. And by that I'm pretty sure I'm a walking zombie. I may look ok, but oh my word. I just wanna fall over and sleep. Or sleep standing up. Sleep. That's all this selfish momma wants. I've totally broken my no caffeinated pop rule (since I don't do coffee), to get a little bit of a rush.
He looks like a zombie too.

So any who- Adrain's fever wouldn't break all morning and his snotty nose went yucky green. I made him an appointment with our pediatrician. He has another ear infection and thank goodness for the awesome ent staff, worked him in to get seen as well with Viola on Thursday! He's also on a bit stronger antibiotic now too.

Henry is now coughing lots, and was dressed to impress today! There was no judgement here! Ha. He got lots of compliments.

It's been a very long day. Here's to sleep. But who am I kidding. I know it won't happen! It's fun to wish though! Haha

Take that baby proof

We've been having issues with little hands being thieves in the bathroom. Most specifically in Ryan's drawer. He's been at his breaking point and took matters into his own hands!
He put this up.

Henry also helped in the assembly. He loved that. So now little hands can't make daddy mad any more!

Oh and we finally got our outdoor lights up. No, we won't light them till after thanksgiving. But they look great!

And the girls went with Santi to his grandma's house and had some fun this afternoon!
