Viola's conference

I've been very nervous for this day for some time. I think the main reason is because Viola and Isabelle are so different when it comes to school. Iz I can attribute her being at Bright Horizons with me when we were in Ames and her early exposure to a school like setting. Viola not having that has had me worried that she's not where she should be.
Rest assured Ryan and I weren't one bit concerned about her mentality at all. Her stubbornness to tell us what she's learning is strong. Her teacher agreed that she's strong willed. Some days Viola is willing to talk and others she's not. She is recognizing her numbers and letters and writing them though, and that was my biggest concern. I'm extremely pleased with where she's at!
It was a long day and she crashed coming home.
