Visitation day

Today is my grandpas 87th birthday! Sounds so weird and it is-that he died three days before he was born. That being said, since gramps was in the navy he is having a full military honored funeral. A first for me.
We don't know who gets the flag yet, and it might sound bad, but I'm a little excited to see what this type of service is like. Having such an honorable man serve and defend and getting recognized for it-that's just awesome!
It was great to see so many people come visit tonight! We are blessed as a family to be so close and have close friends too!
Small story; gramps loved snickers candy bars...Iz had a small one and put it in the caskit with him to honor his memory! Sweetest thing, ever.
Henry got lots of love from his aunties Rachel and Jena! He was just spoiled!
The funeral home has a grieving dog for therapy reasons, his name is Gabe. Iz fell in love with him.
He is such a cutie!
I'm very ready to go back home tomorrow, as much as I've enjoyed being around my family, I miss my hubby and my bed!
My handsome boy!

Until tomorrow!
Me and my baby!! :-)
