I had a lot of friends and family check in on me today. It helped the day go by quicker, somewhat more smoothly and for that I'm greatful. I probably came off as way strong last night, for that I should appologize, but I needed the vent.
I took the kids to story time today. I figure even if it's not the greatest (the program in Ames is unlike any other!) it's good for us to get out and do it. Henry sat there better than most of the older kids to listen! Ha
We finally had something other than puppets (however crayons and paper were still there). The girls really found the puzzles entertaining.
After Iz got out of school we went to visit grandma Joyce.
Henry had fun showing her how happy and chatty he was today.
We had a good visit and it was fun to get caught up with her.
We got a drop in visit from grandma Annie tonight as well, too. She watched the kids play outside and then headed home. That pushed everything back-which was good cause all of a sudden here I am with kids in bed and my quiet time already!! Yay!! :-)
