I had no idea they were actually pulling a tooth-so I was surprised but in a good way. Her one was so big, the infection took over too much, so it had to be done.
Before anything she drank some medicine to relax her enough to be separated from me. Then they hooked her up to the gas.
I wasn't allowed in, which I was ok with. They gave her lots of novicain and did their work. She laid there watching a movie above her and nearly fell asleep-at least that's what I was told. She looked stoned when she was finished.
After no food or drinks, she did get sick going home. So after a good nap and getting food, she was herself in no time.
Since they pulled a molar, they had to put in a spacer to keep her teeth from moving. That will be there until we see her new one start to come in around ten or eleven years of age and then they'll pop it off.
That's how bad the cavity was! Please, even if your kids scream and kick, you have to make sure you help! Otherwise that happens!
So now we got our first tooth fairy experience tonight! Earlier than anticipated, but she's excited!
Until tomorrow!!
