Muscles

We worked our muscles today. 

He has been so happy this past week! It's been really fun. 

Ry took Henry to the doc this morning. He was up screaming for an hour two nights in a row and has still been playing with his ears. No infection, but two months later he still has fluid in them. I'll ask his dr what we do at his 2 year checkup in a week. So frustrating.

Family photo day

I've been so nervous for this day all week. Trying to keep four kids happy and to smile and look at the camera is tough. I won't lie-it went so much better than I expected. Henry woke up so grumpy. Screaming and crying kind of grumpy. So I was glad to have gotten what we did out of him! 

So all the pics are on Facebook. We didn't order all of them. It was hard to choose! Over all were pleased with what we got! 

Ryan rode his bike today. He took Iz down the driveway. She loved it!

Surprises

Iz got a surprise today while at school. My mom came and had lunch with her! 

She did that and got to play at Sydney's again after school. I got Henry and Viola bath foam to play with since they didn't get a play date. 

They didn't take to it so much. Maybe next time I'll try it at the table. Oh well.

Planning

We've been tossing out so many ideas on what to do with our tax return. The options seem endless. All I want is running shoes! 

I also have been trying to figure out outfits. We have family pics on Saturday morning. I'm nervous because I want then to turn out well!!  

Spent the day resting again. Hopefully tomorrow I feel better.

Isabelle's first

Today Isabelle went home with a friend from school. A first for her. I didn't pick her up. Sydney's mom did it all. I was thankful since I'm still a little under the weather, but it was weird not going and picking her up!  Iz had a blast though. So much so that she's going again on Friday! Hooray for new and fun adventures! 

I made then pose for me when Iz got home! They even hugged goodbye. So cute!

My thoughts

Note:this isn't really kid related or anything special tonight. This is me, my thoughts on current life events and what not. 

Over the past couple of days I have seen and heard so much political mumbo jumbo, that I really can't stand it any longer. What we stand for has become so twisted and contorted, it's almost alarming. I will not bash any one of the contenders running because then that brings me to their level of low. I will not praise any of them because I still honestly do not know who I like. What party I like however is only my business. 

When my kids see and hear constant belittling of forgein people in our country, I find myself hoping that I've done a good job at teaching them to "treat them how you want to be treated". I hope that they exchange it as well. 

I'm very greatful for the teaching lessons it brings about when Isabelle asks me questions. I do my best to make it a teachable moment. 

I'm greatful that my parents never pressed these political things on me and left it my choice as to which party I like or what issues I find important. And I'm very glad that Ryan and I can talk freely about it too, and agree for the most part. 

I guess today I'm exhausting myself of it all on here. I'm greatful for a lot today. 

I'm greatful l was able to lay low today and rest more since I still feel run down. I got all five of us adjusted and it felt amazing. Adrian and I enjoyed being lazy this morning. 

Ryan had the morning off for taxes and a few doctor appointments, so it was nice having him here. 

One thing I'm greatful for is bedtime!!

Seeing new

We (the kids and I) let Adrian play with a baby doll this morning. He needed help holding onto it, but boy when he first saw it his eyes got huge! He chatted and chatted with it. 

I'm starting to feel off like I may have caught something, so I'm hoping sleep tonight helps. Getting sick is the very last thing I want or need in this house right now!

Dr daddy

The arm of Viola's doll fell off this morning. Ryan couldn't get it fixed with just the outside. He opened it up and still had no luck. He ended up super gluing the arm back on. Only down side is that it can't move. We told Viola that, and hopefully she remembers. He sewed the back back up and that was that.

Princesses

Isabelle had a very small birthday party today. She had her cousins and one friend from school. They dressed up like princesses. Did their make up and nails. Had small cup cakes and they played. 

They also got some colored hair extensions.

Sleep over

Iz is having a cousin sleep over tonight. Ava and Keira ate here! They've been so busy running and being crazy loud.

100th day

Well Iz had her 100th day of school. 

She was super excited. 

She came home with a crown! 

I got an hour to myself tonight. Granted it was the eye dr, but I'll take what I can get!

New friends

The kids and I were invited to a new friends house today. I met Kayla and her daughter Lola at the library. Lola is the same age as Viola, and she has a new baby sister, Willa. I took a few pics.

And once the frozen castle was discovered I couldn't convince Viola to leave. We have some penny saving to do now!

Gravity

Adrian is stuck on gravity right now. A few times I've glanced at him on his side trying to figure out how to roll over. He's stuck mid swing (if that makes sense), and gravity pulls him back down. He's getting closer every day!

The kids and I took all the broken crayons and made new ones after school. 

We threw them in the oven at 275 for 15 minutes and got these:

String it

So the kids are going so stir crazy in this darn cold weather. Indy didn't have school today so it kind of made the day a little extra long. I got out packing tape and strung it across the room and said have fun to the kids. They took it very serious. 

Adrian loved being under it! 

We finished Isabelle's shirt today. I'll get the picture Thursday!

Clothing designer

So the 100th day of school is Thursday already! Isabelle and her classmates were asked to design a shirt with 100 objects. They could be the same or different. Glued or painted. We decided to paint. 

Viola got to make a shirt too. 

The giant sequence aren't sticking, so we're going to have to go back over it with paint. 

So tomorrow we will decorate the back with 100 different shapes! Iz is very excited for that. 

Adrian's been moody today, but he also hasn't slept well. Hopefully he gets good rest tonight. 

The kids and I hung out at the farm. We hadn't been there since Christmas. Ryan went to an auction, so the kids got lots of spoiling.
