Strep where?

So last night Viola had two accidents. This was before bed and that never happens. She complained that "my butt hurts". I didn't think much of it because she's 3 and who knows what her hurts means.

Well this morning she's still complaining and I had a moment where I thought about a blog I'd read where her kid had complained about an itchy butt. Yes. You can get step on your butt. It's called perianal step. Look it up. It's weird, but I guess you can get strep anywhere on your body! 

Long story short I took her in to make sure. The dr didn't seem to think that's what it was. We had her tested for a uti, and while she has some white cells it wasn't enough for an infection. It's being cultured and we'll know in a day or two. 

 She did great! She's still complaining tonight, so hopefully we can get good answers. And soon!
