Since I came out yesterday and told you all how relieved I was to have taken the step to get my meds balanced- I felt much more calm today. I can't explain it, but I mentally feel better, and can only go up hill from here!
We got word this morning that Ryan's grandmas sister passed away from cancer. I immediately brushed my teeth and hauled the kids to get flowers for her. They will travel to Kentucky, and I know it doesn't take the pain away, but makes things a little brighter. She was extremely thankful. So much so that she took them in the car with her so she can enjoy them! I knew we did a great thing!
We went and hung out with Kristy and the kids.
There's just not a whole lot we can do when it rains and the heat is killer.
The girls played ring-around-the-rosie, and watched a Barbie movie in the basement.
It was nice to have some sister time and adult-to-adult conversations!
So since we were pretty much stuck inside all day, we had a "selfie" photo shoot. Pic time!
I had a lot of fun with him!!
His goal was to eat my cheek!!

The girls and I spent the last half hour of their night watching ALS challenges on Facebook! They found it funny.
