Let's get real

I spent the morning at the doctors office! Thank goodness for the rain, and my father-in-law! He watched the girls since he couldn't work...a huge headache saver for me.
He kept them very busy!
Lots of rides
I did take Henry, he had a re-check on his ears (crystal clear!).
I went to get myself checked out. I've been having headaches almost everyday, and I didn't even link them to my cold. So we are seeing if amoxicillin helps with what might be a sinus infection. Other wise, a ct scan could be in my future.
I also asked to see if I could switch my anti-depressant. Yep. That's right. I've struggled with that and more so anxiety now, since high school. I've decided that since adding a third child to our mix, I'm not really in balance like I want to be.

How do I explain this? I had my baby blues after Henry arrived (I mean I started sobbing uncontrollably before I was even discharged). Those passed, but raising three kids with no breaks is beyond exhausting. I've been taking the same meds for four years, and after feeling like a horrible mom at the end of each day I decided it was time. (I know I'm not horrible, but I have to play mean mommy so much that it takes a toll on me emotionally.)
I used to be embarrassed about this, but with SO much public awareness lately, I'm not anymore. I knew something was wrong in high school, and with the help of my mom and a best friend at the time, we got it under control.
This looks insane I know, one bottle is the amoxicillin, but to start a new pill I have to wean off one and work up on the other. So now I begin the process of getting a better chemical balance! I'm so full of relief that I took that step today. And I wanted to share it with you!
We did nothing this afternoon (I had a headache-shocker!), but Iz played with Henry.
He has also found his hand, and discovers that it can wave. He doesn't make the "hi wave" connection yet, just that he's got that ability. It's pretty cute to watch!
I did manage to get the kids outside tonight for a little bit. Iz finally wrote Henry's name for me.
She also write her name-backwards-with backwards letters! She can do it normal-she's just stubborn!
She also rode her bike, while Henry and Viola watched.

Hope I didn't freak anyone out! :-)

Until tomorrow!
Wipes and parchment paper fun
