Rashes

So I noticed some tiny red bumps on Henry's arm yesterday...didn't think anything of it. I can never keep up with all the mysteries of a baby. Well today it's all over his body. I do not know what it is... sometimes it looks bad and other times it is hardly there.
All I can say is I don't like it
That's the bottom of his foot
I thought hand foot and mouth but I really don't know. He doesn't have a fever, just a rash. He didn't sleep for crap last night...so if any of you know, let me know! Ha-only kidding.
We took in an extra little one today! Ryan's cousin needed a sitter so I offered.
Meet Katherine. She's 7 months old and the same size (maybe even a wee bit bigger) as Henry. She's a crawler, pulls up to standing and an incredibly easy baby!! We had fun taking care of her. She and Henry didn't really know what to think of each other.
I did take all 4 to the library. Insert Viola and her fit (all because she couldn't sit in the stroller!! I know-how dare I!). She refused to leave her shirt on! Her retaliation? Sure! Why not?!
I tried everything to get it back on, but she screamed. So to save myself more embarrassment-I let her win until we left-insert more loud, attention drawing, side comments (wow she has 4! Kids), and stares- Viola's sweet, ear piercing screams. A lovely time was had by all!

Until tomorrow!

I saw this and had to share because this is my life to an exact T!!!

Repeat

The attitudes of the kids today (well more tonight like every other night). I didn't get a single picture except if the back of a truck. I thought it's plate said shitters. No lie. In fact it said this:
Ya so Henry is 100% teething- I've hardly been able to set him down! Long day and I'm ready for bed!!!

Until tomorrow!

Bug bites

Farm life comes with a lot of freedom for the kids. If they want to go out and play I say sure. I'm not worried about a whole lot. I don't totally ignore them, but it's nice that I can also be inside and not have to worry so much. Viola has well 19 bug bites from this weekend alone-a down side. Does she care-no! They had so much fun up at my moms!
Vi did her dress up thing and then "washed" uncle Ian's hair.
They played outside pretty much from 8 am on!
Monkeys
Vi has amazing upper arm strength!!
It got hot and due to all the bugs henry wasn't out much!
We headed straight south to Ryan's parents for dinner since he isn't due back from Illinois until midnight or later.
Henry and Max played with blocks.
There was so much playtime that I didn't get any pictures, and also Henry was so grumpy I couldn't put him down. He had a serious separation anxiety issue tonight!  That's ok, I did get him to sleep, but it wasn't without a good fight!
Tonight was kind of exhausting, we've had a very busy weekend so here's to good night!

Until tomorrow!

Haha this is how he sleeps-one arm swaddled!! :-)

New family

I found out when I was pregnant with Iz that I had an older half sister. I knew her name was Angela, she lived in Texas and had a daughter, Launa. We became friends on Facebook, and that was really all that had happened-until today! I finally met her and my niece.
This is Ang...she's great. Quiet like me and I'm excited to have finally met. I feel bad we didn't get to have more time to sit and chat, but we have a lot of time to do that.
So here we all are my dad, his kids and grandkids (oh and how dare I forget Olaf!!). We rocked out our state gear and had a blast!
Siblings
We tried a grandkid only shot- Viola was on major melt down mode so it turned into a bit of a mess:
Mid melt down
Anyways, I got to see aunts and uncles I haven't seen in far too long, we ate too much good food and it was an all around blast!
Aside from that big adventure we played at my moms.
Ava and Kera are here for a slumber party tonight, too. It's been more than crazy in this house!
We had lots of monkeys
And some selfies
Henry's making great friends with Lilly!
He impressed the family a lot today, too.
I love my family and we are really blessed.

Until tomorrow!!

Up north

We had to make a painful purchase this morning...
It always happens that it all runs out at the same time. So 74$ later our two kids have clean butts for another week! Good birth control for you non parents!
In other news, we are at my moms for the weekend! We spent tonight exploring half of their new swing set.
And that's all we did!

Until tomorrow!!

Spa day

Ok, if you're thinking I got to spend the day at the spa with time all to myself-you're sorely mistaken!! I had a sort of spa day-but with kids included!
I treated myself to a haicut, or as most of us call it-the mom cut!
4 inches and some layers later and wind added for looks :-) I feel lighter on top. I also bought myself some new panties and a bra. NO I didn't go into Victoria Secret with three kids. I can't. Not until I'm finished with breastfeeding. I feel like that day will never come. Which leads me to my next point.
I've started to wean the amount of milk I make. It's been a very long week...as in I feel and look like a mom with a newborn baby all over again! This has been hard on me. I'm sore, hot and sweaty, cranky because is the later two, and going bonkers with a baby who loves to currently smack everything! Only nursing and pumping mommies know what that feels like! Anyway-I'm hoping to make it to ten months with just pumping. It's been exhausting and I'm slowly starting my weaning process. Yes it makes me sad, but good lord I want to sleep on my tummy again! The end is in sight and I hate that Henry will be one in 4 months!! So sad!!
Ok-enough of the heavy (literally haha) all about me gander-we didn't do much. The girls went to the park with grandma Annie tonight so I did get an actual 1.5 hours of just me and Henry-which is like having no kids. I had Chinese for dinner and now I'm going to eat cheesecake!

Until tomorrow!!!

Picture day

I had Isabelle show me how she would smile for her pictures this afternoon at school. Here's what I got!
Not the best, but better than the following:
...
...
And finally..
And don't forget the monkey see, monkey do...
...
They are so much alike, but so different at the same time. Especially when it comes to temperature...they have a drastically different point of view... At least today they did.
Whatever....I got something on Viola eventually. We spent nearly all afternoon and evening outside.
He had a blast.
Iz taught herself to stand and peddle today! Brave and big!!
Vi loved my dinner! Random I know, but I had to get it in somewhere!

Until tomorrow!!

He got new jammies from daddy!!!
