Omg

I hate rain. I am a firm believer now that it makes my kids cranky and holy mean! Iz and Vi did nothing but go at it tonight. Seriously, why, WHY can't kids just listen the first time! I swear I said no, stop, use your words, go to your room and be quiet more tonight than I have in probably-ever. If there was or is a world record I could have broken it. Gah! So in all seriousness though, aside from tonight the day wasn't half bad. 

We "tried" toddler time at the library here and I say that very loosely. I was hugely disappointed. The lady merely read ONE and only one book and was done. 

I'm NOT an expert but if you want people to like your library and have kids get excited to read (of which I'm passionate about), try harder. Make it fun, make a kids area fun! Don't tell the kids to shush and what not. Ok I'm getting carried away. I'll move on! 

The girls just didn't enjoy it at all and it made me feel bad. I will gladly drive to DSM if I have to! :-)

Henry had fun...he got his push-ups on!! I know, be jealous-my kids going to have guns before he is a teen! ;-) just kidding 

Thank you storms for ruining nap time and freakinng out Viola with every single boom, flash, and clap! However, I've missed you, so at th same time, welcome back!

I got "crazy" in the kitchen tonight!! Not really, I just made walking tacos and made it look like an awesome casserole! Ha-I can't cook, that's Ryan's job, and he loves claiming it! It was really good though! 

We've been bombarded with flash flooding, and it seems to have slowed down now. Finally!!

I really hope we don't get too much more!! I am, however, very excited for the cooler weather!!
