I hate nights like last night. You know the impending weather is coming and that the night will be rough. I knew I wouldn't get much or good sleep. All held true. We got hounded by rain and thunder and wicked amounts if lightning around 10 last night. Thank god the kids slept through it. I've never heard rain hit so hard before! And due to the storms, I didn't sleep well and was grumpy today. The house felt like it was a mess to me and that tends to stress me out more...I guess I'm too anal sometime!
I tried my hardest, taking several steps back to breathe and what not. I tried. The parks were too soggy and muddy, so we played it safe and went outside here.
We spent the entire day in our jammies-mainly due to the fact that I did three loads of laundry. :-) AND I got it put away!! Huge props there!!
It's fun to be comfy and lazy every now and then.
Iz told me she drew a shoe with laces. She was proud of her work.
I finally had to put him in the grass. He kept falling forward into it so I figured that was safer. He's really, really wanting to move. He flops to his tummy all the time and gets upset because he can't go (well he can, just the wrong direction). He's pretty funny to watch!
In all seriousness-this was the most lazy day. It was good, if was bad, it was ugly at points, we I survived, so did the kids, who are all sleeping. My favorite time of day. :-)
