So today I realized its December 11th. No big deal to you all...but to me it means Isabelle will be five (wtf? Already!?) on the 7th and I have no clue, NO CLUE or plan for her party!
It's very hard to plan a party for a five year old! Like-really hard!
Not only have I successfully spent my day (silently) freakinng out about it...but coming up empty handed!
Here's a few things I've found:
Little gyms in Des Moines-too much money. Just the NON-refundable deposit alone was 125$ on top of paying a minimum of over 200$!
The Zoo-appealing, but parents that want to attend would have to pay to join in the fun as well! Who wants to do that!
A princess party-yep. Where you can have a live Elsa! 100$ for 45 minutes with ONLY 8 kids! Can't happen-price goes up for the more you want!
And another princess one where Elsa would be there is expensive as well. I'm on the verge of giving up.
This is the hard part of having winter babies. I can't just go and reserve a park shelter! This town also doesn't have a lot of places to just throw a party, either.
If you have ideas that aren't over the top expensive-I'm all ears!
I have started her bday invite, however:
It's not an official frozen card, but hell- all the colors are spot on! As you can see...details are missing! Oh well!
It was a very bad day. The kids were all very grouchy and I'm at a melting point! The only awesome thing I can report is Henry used my leg to stand up and let go! He stood for probably 6ish seconds without holding on! It was awesome!!
