I know a lot are probably thinking "whoa-they're crazy," or "that's awesome", or even "geesh-keep it down". Well I'm here to tell you that we are just as shocked as you all are!
I called the doctor last week because I was tired of feeling so sick from the birth control pill. No way in hell did I think I could be pregnant. I was still pumping and hadn't had a period since before Henry! Well they told me to take a test just in case.
Surprise. Of a life time! It hasn't even been a week since we took the test!
I stopped taking the pill right away (feel better but not 100%, I still feel sick-a lot), had blood work done Friday and Sunday.
The doctor called me yesterday to tell me my HCG (pregnancy hormone) level was 94,000, which could be anywhere from ten to fourteen weeks!
Still totally dumbfounded, we had an ultrasound this morning to see how far we really are (9 weeks and 2 days) and to hear the heartbeat (a glorious 180).
So Henry gets to be promoted to big brother five years too soon, and my plan to NOT get pregnant 100% failed, but we're ok with it. This is obvoulsy the route we are to endure and the more I let it sink in the more excited I'm getting.
Vi doesn't totally get it but I know she will and Iz-well she thinks it's a girl and wants to name her Elsa...shocker!
My life is going to be so busy and now I need a white board to write everything down! Hopefully we have a smooth and easy pregnancy and stay healthy!
So I'm glad you're as shocked as we are but I love my family and I'm excited for tiny baby snuggles again!
