Expect the unexpected

My day today was nothing out of the ordinary, but I didn't do anything right. We started with Henry's last check up (until August) at what I thought was an 8 am appointment! Nope. 210. That's when it was. Luckily they saw us anyway and I was thankful for that!
He has bronchitis and his ear is full of clear fluid and now we're on the road to recovery! The cough will linger and he's done this weekend with his meds! I love our clinic, but I do not want to go back until August (6 month apt).
We went to the park early (9 am) to beat the heat!
Viola had her breakfast there (sort of). We headed home after about an hour to water Isabelle's garden! She and Ryan did this yesterday and she's very proud of it!
We went to get Ryan from work and he took us to Union Park-something I wasn't expecting! It was fun!!
This is the rocket slide. Viola wouldn't go down but Iz did!
They had a small splash-wading pool with fountains. HAD I known Ryan wanted to do this I would have brought swim suits. So, we got to be the parents that let their kids go wild and have wet cloths. :-/ it's ok. They had a blast!

A smart mommy is always prepared and has extra clothing, right? Well...I at least had dry diapers and a dry pair of panties for Iz. :-) It was all worth it to see the joy and fun on their faces!
We also tried Henry in a VERY slow swing ride. He loved it! He's changing too fast! He's almost gotten himself rolled over from his back to tummy now too! Slow it down, sweet boy!

We plan to stay inside tomorrow with the nasty heat! Who knows what we will do!

Until tomorrow!
