Rest day

Today Henry had his cavities filled. The poor kid wasn’t allowed to eat anything until after it was over. He did an amazing job. He was given a drink to relax him and then gas and they numbed him. I sat in another room across the hall and never heard a peep from him! To say I was relieved is an understatement because he doesn’t do well with the dentist. After he was finished gather gave him a popsicle. He was eager for that! Coming home I got him two donuts and he ate almost all of it! 

He had a bit of a rough afternoon. After the numbing wore off he kept crying and begging for the caps to come off. He was in pain and was refusing to take any medicine. I told him I’d get him some ice cream and maybe after that he’d take it. It worked. After he took meds we snuggled most of the afternoon. He doesn’t do that much so I ate it up! 

We had family over for dinner tonight. That was fun. Lots of laughs and good conversation. 

Bru got to play with his buddy Theo. And LoLo was all over Bru. 



I think they’ll be buddies for a while.
