Sleepover

Tonight I have my three nieces and nephew here for an overnight. I wanted to give their momma a break to have a night out. She got little Lorelei a sitter so she could do just that! With her husband, Justin, being over seas right now her alone time is next to none. I’m always pleased to do this. 

The kids have been having a pretty good time. The boys built a lot at first inside, then they moved the legos outside and little Lili joined in. It was cute seeing them in the grass getting creative. 

The four big girls got all dolled up with make up and fancy clothes and then insisted we have a photo shoot. Luckily for them I’m a photo snob and got busy! 😊 so beware. Photo dumping below. This is them getting ready and then their poses they insisted on doing. 

Viola and Emma were “candy” so they really wanted to try and pose with candy but it wasn’t working well. And the exaggerated makeup was part of the goal for Vi. 😝













We’re very lucky these kiddos are so close in age and such good friends. 

Lili has to get in with her beautiful nightgown/dress too. 

And of course when I want a shot of all of them one refuses and one refuses to smile. Oh well! I’ll take what I can get. 

I finally just told them to all be goofy. 

Hopefully they all sleep well tonight. I know I’m ready for bed! I’m not quite sure how some families have more than four or five kids. It’s been work tonight! However, I wouldn’t trade it!
