Tiny mighty

Sir Adrian had a very big day! He got to nurse! Not once, but twice! He wasn't even positioned right and he had already latched on with try number one! He completely blew his nurse away! Even though he didn't get much, it's still very good! The nurse told me (using this analogy) that the amount of energy it takes him to nurse is like me telling you to go out and run 8 one mile runs in a day. It's exhausting to him. So by try number two he was very sleepy and didn't go as long. We need him to get that strength and energy so he can go home!  

This was after try number two! Tuckered out! 

He was VERY alert and awake before, during and after his first feeding!

They increased his feedings from 5 mls to 10! They lowered his iv fluids from 9 to 7! The iv is to make sure he doesn't dehydrate, so hopefully this up on feedings and down on iv fluid trend continues!! Tiny steps for a mighty man!

These busy bevers played frozen. Henry has been changed into Kristoph and the girls....well we all know who they are!! 

My emotions have been awesome today, and I can't wait to get back to see my lil man tomorrow!!
