To make the busy weekend even busier we went down to the farm today. As the girls and I call it "Papa's Park"! There is never a dull moment and naps are NON-existent.
Our "game" plan was to leave during lunch time so Viola would sleep on the way there. YEAH RIGHT! My plans and her plans don't mesh. She got pretty hyper instead! Terd!
The girls pretty much played all day. In and out.
Papa found this ride for free on a curb-he fixed it! And Iz loved it!
This child posed! Big time! I was informed during dinner that Viola was in the bathroom half nude! Yep. She just sat and wiped. End of story.
Iz also took it upon herself to learn to drive! She went in circles! Pretty funny to see. Hopefully she'll be better when she is a real driving citizen. :-)
Viola played with Max. She is quite a little mother. He will be one tomorrow! That was a fast year!
I have to say, when we go to the farm it's never a visit-it's a big deal. Ry's mom makes a huge meal-enough food to feed an army! Always great food and company! I love to catch up and relax, not chase my kids and have someone else love and spoil Henry for the day!
I did a big first as well today. I shot Ryan's gun. He has a permit to carry and got his gun after we got our tax refund. He is more than safe with it and it's never on our house. He wanted to show me and "teach" me how to use it.
Those were my targets. Right. I stood about 20 feet away.
Sorry for the crazy pic-Ryan took a video of me so I had to screen shot a picture. I won't lie-it was a little scary! The first shot I said ok I'm done-but I did try again!
Ryan did a lot better! He hit the targets. I hit the board-once AND the water!! Yeah! There was a small creek and yep-I can hit water! :-)
I realized I never got a pic of Henry today-so here is one from the party yesterday!
