Zombie and jello

Ever have the days where you are so tired that if you sit down you start to fall asleep? Yep. That was me today. I don't know how many times I was either awake or woken up last night, but it was enough to make me a walking zombie. Sure I tried to keep busy by cleaning the kitchen, but I swear every time I turned around there was another mess. It seemed to work and then during nap time I crashed on the couch while Iz watched Peg + Cat on PBS kids. :-/ I felt better after so I suppose that can be a justification, right? :-)
I knew I had to find something for them to keep busy with. Digging in my already over stuffed closet I found a bag of rubber bands!
Isabelle is too smart for her own good. She figured out how to put them on her books to look like a weave pattern. She also figured out that by smacking them they make music! Seriously-I didn't teach her at all! It also kept her busy and quiet for a good three hours-no lie!!
Viola just got pretty.
The girls and I made jello this afternoon. It was an experiment on my part to see if they even liked it. Fail. They don't. However they had fun making it with me.
Stir
Pour
Dump
Carve? Or cookie cut or whatever you want to call it. It wasn't 100% solid so every time they pushed it down it made a fart. To which it was then a game and very funny to them! Stinkers.
I dont have cookie cutters so we used the lid to a toy-thus making the sound it did. Oh to be a kid. Hopefully tomorrow I will get pictures of Henry and him doing something. :-) laugh maybe? I can only hope! He is SO close!!
Until tomorrow!
