I don't know how many people at home have this issue, but when your kids don't listen and then don't listen on purpose and do everything they're NOT supposed to do? My day summed up in that long run-on sentence!
When I say I tried everything I could to keep the girls busy, calm, and somewhat quiet, I did. Did it work: HECK NO! Here is how hard I really tried. You may be looking through the photos thinking-wow!! But in reality-no.
Try number 1:
Colored pasta. Iz begged me for days to do this. She played for probably less than five minutes! Viola-not at all! She kept busy playing with cups (until Iz got to her).
I call it Pom Pom laundry basketball!
It lasted ten minutes:
Turned to this; followed by this:
Yep! That ended the laundry basket activities! Ps-yes-swim suit and why I don't know.
Try number 3:
Pipe cleaners in the strainer. Viola liked it but Iz was bossy. I just couldn't catch a break with her today!
The girls put together sticker faces that Vi got as a bday gift. This lasted the longest out of everything!
They needed help pealing the stickers but put them where ever they wanted.
We then decked them out with glitter glue sticks-much less messy!
Insert try number 5:
Due to the girls just being SO good today, Henry couldn't hardly nap. The poor guy was so grumpy from being so tired! He did get a cute pic in while on my lap tonight. He is of course eating his fist!
He has this new trick where he can now sort of smack his lips with his tongue. It's cute.
Isabelle informed Ryan that she will have a better day tomorrow because Jaedyn is spending the weekend with us. We've told her if she isn't good that won't happen.
I'm so exhausted that I somewhat dread tomorrow in fear that it will be bad. I will try hard to be optimistic.
And there you have it-my horrible, no good very bad day...all in photos! I'm crazy I know but I have to have proof. :-)
