Walking-A way of life

It's a true story. Since I don't have a vehicle right now, I continue to walk everywhere I need to go (weather permitting). This morning we loaded up and walked to Walmart. It's more of a straight shot than hyvee. We got fruit since we seem to be flying through it. I needed bananas, peanut butter and vanilla yogurt to make this bad boy! SO good! This is also a double batch! :-)
I feel so lazy now if I don't walk at some point in my day. I HATE sweating and it's only multiplied since I'm pumping for Henry-but I also feel awesome after I've done it! It's a win-lose situation! I also know that the girls are getting a good example of exercise. Yesterday walking up a huge hill and pushing the kids, Isabelle looks at me and says "It's ok mommy-you got this, take a deep breath if you have to!" Seriously!? From the mouth of my four year old! Made me feel good! She's a great coach already.
Henry was excited to walk-and happy because after a five day streak he finally pooped three times today!!
Viola faught hard for her nap-I won. After she got up we played outside. I tried to teach Iz how to hop scotch. She gets it to an extent. The rock throwing-to a tee! I had to threaten her multiple times.
Iz also wrote her whole "big name" as she calls it. I feel like if I don't make her do this, that she will forget and I don't want that. Oh the fears I have as a mommy!!
Viola just scribbles still.
Ryan is moving his shop to the east village in Des Moines this week, so he unloaded the seats out of the van. It makes for an entire days worth if entertainment.
My house is upside down right now and it's driving me literally crazy!! I can't stand the clutter from the chairs! :-/  oh well-it's just for today!
I like to keep things exciting here-or at least try. Tonight we had a glow-in-the-dark bath! How? Glow sticks. Cost you one dollar at Walmart and boom-bathtub fun for dirt cheap!
They just HAD to show Henry!
So our day wasn't that exciting. Tomorrow we have lots to do-I also get the van! :-) I've learned it's the little things like this that make me more content. Why? I have no clue-just does.

Until tomorrow!
