This post is not about me, but my best friend. She's strong, brave, courageous, smart, loves unconditionally and has a heart of gold. MY mom.
Today was not about me. I want everyone to know how amazing and strong-willed MY mom is.
She gave birth to me-a not easy labor. Again-she's strong. :-)
She was born with bilateral hip displasia. Her hip joints were turned out vs in- she's had them replaced after two different surgeries before. Again MY mom is brave. She lives in pain daily and NEVER complains. MY mom is strong.
She's been through it all and watches me go through it all. I turn to HER when I need advice, support and love. She is MY BEST friend!
I love her more than anyone can know. I've been her caretaker as much as she's been mine. She raised me to be the person I am today and is without a doubt the most amazing Grammy to walk the planet. She takes anyone in and loves them.
She's a teacher and leader. She's MY mom!!! She has so many super hero capes and there isn't enough pen and paper or cmputer or smart phone typing to explain her.
Mom-please I hope this doesn't/isn't making you cry. You're my rock, and I look to you for everything. I only hope that one day I can pay you back for all you've done for myself and my family. I want to send you on a trip of your dreams. You more than deserve it!
I hope my kids love me and learn from me like I did with you!
